Being a leader or manager is no easy task. It is not just something that you will get just because you want it for your own personal achievement. It is far beyond the way we think manager and leader is because it is a big responsibility that needs knowledge, skills, attitude, experience, ability., capability, and so on. No one can be in an important position that is not prepared for the challenges and obstacles along the way. Why are these things needed, its because managing and leading is a complex and sophisticated responsibility towards the organization.
Manipulation When you are leading its not about manipulating its about guiding and positively influencing people or person to make himself better. To increase performance and to repair relationship including fixing work performance. Manipulation creates psychological risk to employees which can be detrimental to productivity and performance of employees. Vain Its okay to be vain about you and your position but do not show your vainness to your employees because its not about you, its about your work and responsibility. Showing that you are competitive and can contribute to the productivity and goal of the company is all that matters. Employees and your clients know you already no need of getting vain just to elevate your confidence and trust. Leaders and managers just need to focus on what he can do for the company. Distorted Thinking If you are a manager you should have a clear and clarity of thinking because you need to use your brain power most of the time to solve problems and to plan. If distortive brain is present it will influence the way leaders and managers think. Thinking logically, creatively, and critically will help you navigate the complexities of managing workplaces. Managing is all about solving problems, avoiding problems, innovations, that will make a manager and leader successful in his roles and responsibilities. Thinking of possibilities and innovation doesn't require a twisted and distorted way of thinking.
